David is a creative and passionate innovator and entrepreneur with 10+ years experience in entrepreneurial ventures and client relationships. Prior to founding Synetiq, David worked at Imprvd, a digital brand consulting firm and at Dezigen, an e-commerce business that sold high-end design products, two companies he co-founded. David has studied design and architecture in Paris and in Hong Kong. He worked for clients in 3 continents out of China, France and Hungary where he built and led teams of engineers, scientists and designers. David was featured on Forbes’ 30 under 30 list and the New Europe 100 list of emerging leaders of Google and the Financial Times.
Csenge is a passionate market and media researcher, with 10+ years of profound research experience in the fields of media & technologies (TV, internet, papers, radio, games, music, telecommunications), marketing & advertisements, health and lifestyle out of which she spent 6 years at Ipsos. She is fuelled by the desire to understand people and their decision making processes. In her profession she approaches research in a creative way seeking always the newest and best practices, she also loves to speak in public. Csenge lived, studied and worked in Denmark, Vietnam, Spain and Hungary. She visits India on a yearly basis for improving her daily ashtanga yoga practice.
András holds an MSc in socio-economics and a BSc in international management. After having worked as a social and economic statistical analyst at the Central Statistical Office, he collected experience in account management in customer experience research projects at BARE International and business development of digital merchandising solutions at Planorama. As a Client Services Manager at Synetiq he aims to consult advertisers why and how to measure the unconscious impact of their videos and helps them faster achieve their sales and marketing goals through advertising. After business hours he reads tales for his small children, learns Neuro-Linguistic Programming techniques, he is a true lover of snowed mountains.
Szimonetta holds a Survey Statistics MSc from ELTE, and she spent her internship at Nielsen, where she worked in the insight team, mostly on FMCG projects. She also worked as a freelancer, conducting studies about the labour market of the Hungarian border area and held a university course to BA students. She believes in communicating results in an easily understandable, yet data-driven way. She is interested in data science and data visualisation, and currently she is trying to deepen her knowledge in Python programming. In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking and hiking with her friends.
Petra graduated as an economist specialised in marketing communication and she wrote her master thesis about neuromarketing at Corvinus University. Prior to joining Synetiq, Petra worked as a marketing and trade marketing specialist at Danone and Unilever. Inspired by her deep interest in advertising and neuromarketing, at Synetiq, she works as a media analyst. She brings to the team her expertise gained on the client side. As she loves travelling and cooking, she spent one summer in the USA as a chef at a wilderness camp, making friendships around the world and improving her communication skills. In her free time, she also loves running, doing yoga and reading crime novels.
As a Software Engineer, Dani loves solving problems and coming up with architectural designs for greenfield projects. He always has one (or many) ongoing side-projects, which keeps him up to date on current development best practices and technologies. Currently he is focused on Data Pipeline Development and Cloud Computing Architecture. In his free time, if not working on a personal side project, he likes contributing to Open Source Software, trying out new restaurants, checking out exhibitions, seeing live shows, traveling and running.
Panka graduated as an economist specialised in Hospitality & Hotel Management with completion of abroad studies of Event Management in the Netherlands. Afterwards she gained experience in the field of finance. Now she can combine her studies and practical skills as she is taking care of the company’s operational side, along with Dóri. There’s no mission impossible for her, no matter if it’s HR, recruitment, financial or office needs related. She likes keeping the team happy and making sure teambuildings are memorable. Random fact: she loves seals, she even takes a course to be a seal trainer. She adopted a seal in Wales and is supporting seal rescues in Ireland.
Nóri is in her third year of studying Molecular Bionics Engineering at Pazmany Peter Catholic University. Even though she has a broad interest, she would like to pursue her dream in the field of research. She has always been fascinated by the human brain and she has a deep connection to computers, therefore she enjoys every second working at Synetiq. She joined in 2018 as a lab assistant then became a supervisor, and now she’s a permanent member of the team as a Research manager. Moreover, it made her take a deep dive into electrophysiology. In her free time she likes to spend as much time with her dog as she can, she likes traveling and good conversations.
Tamás has a PhD in psychology, and as the first team member back in the days, he was responsible to create the initial setup of Synetiq’s measurement lab. Previously he worked at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) and at the University of Amsterdam, where he studied the body-mind-behavior interactions of emotional situations. He has published results of his research in internationally reknowned scientific papers such as the International Journal of Behavioral Medicine, Biological Psychology, International Journal of Psychology etc.
He currently works as an assistant professor at the Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest while supporting Synetiq as a scientific consultant. His research interests include stress and emotion psychophysiology and open science.
Bence is a last year MSc student at BUTE (BME) as a Cognitive Scientist and a wannabe front-end developer. He is also Experienced Research Supervisor, with a healing touch when it comes to sensors. Loves to travel – mostly to the mountains for a good hike –, cook some delicious food and really loves to eat (any kinds of) soup and quiche.
Currently Eszter is a psychology student at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University and she has taken interest in the neuropsychology and general psychology specializations. At Synetiq she can observe and study psychophysiological methods and expand her scope in that direction as well. In her free time she likes hanging out with her friends, watching a lot of movies and series, and traveling.
Zsolt began studying psychology where he fell in love with statistics and research so, in addition, he now studies statistics and data analysis as his second major. He is fascinated by new ways of understanding human behaviour so Synetiq is the perfect place for him to broaden his knowledge. He loves traveling, spending time with his best friends, and cannot wait to learn paragliding.
